Hello! I’m Maria, the designer behind Maria Claire Creative. I create bespoke wedding stationery for couples who appreciate thoughtful design and beautiful paper. Ever since my wedding, stationery has become a true obsession. My heart starts to flutter when I see wax seals, velvet ribbon, the beautiful impression from letterpress, and don’t get me started on vintage stamps!

There’s nothing more special than your love story and I love to make stationery that reflects that. I want your friends and family to see you reflected in and to get to know you better through your wedding stationery.

i live for

I am deeply inspired by nature and often feel most creative while I’m hiking among the trees. I love seeing the different textures of barks and the varying hues of green in the moss and ferns. I stop and notice every flower bud and bloom along the trail– often pausing to photograph them, much to my husband’s chagrin. Living in the Pacific Northwest, I’m surrounded by an endless source of natural inspiration that continues to shape the way I think about texture, color, and detail in my designs.

Monet has been my favorite artist since second grade. I don’t remember exactly what first drew me in, but I’ve always been captivated by the softness and romanticism of impressionist paintings– especially his. I've dreamt of visiting Giverny for years– ideally during wisteria season!– to experience that atmosphere and inspiration in person. If you also love similar paintings, they make a beautiful envelope liner!

Whether it’s a subtle texture, a delicate finish, or a small, intentional element, those are often the pieces that stay with me. That attention to detail carries into my work, where I love incorporating thoughtful details that quietly reflect your story and the relationship you’ve built together.
